In the years 1993-1998 I studied at the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, Warsaw University of Technology. In 1998 I obtained MSc. degree in Computer Science. My thesis, A computer system for three-dimensional prostate visualization from ultrasound images, was prepared under supervision of Prof. Jan J. Mulawka at the Group of Artificial Intelligence Research.
Between 1998 and 2011 I developed computer software for scientific and commercial institutions.
In March 2011 I returned to scientific work. In 2011-2012 I worked as a visiting Ph.D. student at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light, Erlangen (Germany), where I performed numerical computations in the area of macroscopic quantum effects under supervision of Dr. habil. Magdalena Stobińska. In 2015 I defended my Ph.D. thesis entitled Specialized numerical algorithms for precise computation of sums of hypergeometric series used in modeling of macroscopically populated quantum states of light (supervisors: Prof. Jarosław Arabas, Warsaw University of Technology, and Dr. habil. Magdalena Stobińska, Univeristy of Gdańsk).
My scientific areas of interest are: numerical simulations, data visualization, computer graphics, parallel computation, databases.
